I’m happy to say that the new game is coming along so well that it should be completed around June/July, all ready for an August release. That’s the deadline I’ve given myself, and I’m quite confident that it will be done on time.

Ah, so, I finished Blue. Like, finished finished. I really liked the concept, but the execution fell shorter than my expectations. So, I decided to not release it. Depressing, I know. I’ve just taken it as a learning experience, and I’ve moved on to bigger and better things.
I am developing something right now, but it’s far too early in development to release any info about. You know, that’d be like telling people you’re pregnant during your first trimester. But watch this space! It’s something small-ish, so info should be here soon.

Yesterday was the first meeting of the Macquarie Game Studio, which I’m hoping to be a big part of. I think my contributions will mostly be on the programming side of things, since it looks like we’ll need a few. It’s all very exciting.
Ah, just found out why Unity was running slower than it should. For some reason it was using the integrated Intel graphics instead of Nvidia. Oops. It’s much better now!
I’m so stretched out at the moment! Currently developing at 3 different places. As soon as Blue is done, I’ll finish these projects before doing any purely Palooka stuff. Busy busy busy!
I’ve always been a Blender guy, but my animation class has converted me to Maya. What a program! So powerful. I’m never going back.
Unity doesn’t seem to work as well on Windows 8. It’s pretty annoying. Or maybe I’m just going crazy.
